Mantra Cure

From the ancient times the Hindu Mantras have been used as powerful incantation to cure and achieve magical power.

The story is that there once was a king and he was destined to be killed by snake poison by certain snake. So he announced who ever knew power to cure the powerful snake poison would be richly rewarded.

A man who learned about the Mantras found one Mantra that would cure the poison of the most powerful snake. A mantra is the combination of words and sounds uttered in certain way.

So this man was on his way to see the king. On the way the snake who was destined to kill the king meets this man. The snake challenges the man to show his power. The snake bites a tree that immediately turns into ashes by tension of the snake. The man speaks his Mantra and the tree comes back to the life again.

The snake gives more wealth to the man than the king's reward. The man returns to his home. The snake goes to palace and kills the king.

This is the story from the Mahabharat the Hindu religious book.

So naturally Hindu believe in many Mantras and use them as to cure their mental and physical diseases.
